The 5 questions to ask before setting off for a village

How do I recognise a verified experience?

By the "Verified town" badge on the listing: it means the town approved the proposal and Twip checked host and contents. Experiences without the badge are not published.

How do I reach the villages without a car?

For every experience we show the easiest way to arrive by regional train or bus, with times and stop. If a village can only be reached by car, we say so clearly before you book.

What if the host asks me to pay in cash or off the site?

Don't: payment happens only on Twip, where it stays protected until the day of the experience. Report the request through the reporting channel and we'll reply within 1 hour.

Are the experiences good for solo travellers too?

Yes: they're designed for small groups and the host plays home. On each listing you can see how many people take part and whether other solo travellers joined.

What happens if it rains?

For outdoor experiences you choose: full refund or a new date. We propose it the day before, without you having to ask.
